Who said capitalism isn’t a problem? I don’t see any comments claiming that.

Capitalism incentives the exploitation of humans and animals alike. It’s possible to recognize that both are a problem.

Its much weirder when leftists unironically believe that “animals are just animals, making them suffer is fine because they are inferior to me”, which is literally the supremacist thinking that racists and classists invoke to justify their mistreatment of other groups too.

FYI everyone, you can install an authenticator app (like KeePassXC) on your laptop, so you don’t need to use your phone.

Wouldn’t recommend putting your MFA in your password manager. You’d only have one attack entry point.

The point of MFA is that you have multiple, so if one ever gets breached, they still wouldn’t be able to get into your accounts.

Now, if they can get into your password manager, it is over.

Though keepass is a pretty good local one, can recommend.

        TOTP ≠ MFA.

The purpose of TOTP is to use 1-time codes instead of (or in addition to) passwords, and doesn’t require multiple devices.

The purpose of MFA is to ensure the user uses multiple devices to log in. In practice, MFA isn’t usually implemented correctly, as it only requires a phone and no other device to log in, so it’s not true MFA. MFA is sometimes implemented with RFC 6238 (TOTP), but for example getting a text message or email with a log-in code is not that.

Your password manager should use a secure password so that attackers can’t get into it. It’s more secure than a phone, which often use few-digit passwords or, god forbid, fingerprints or face scans to unlock.

Actually, as demonstrated daily by my kitties, scent is the 3FA after sight and sound. Doesn’t matter that they see it’s me and hear my voice. Sniff test it the final boss.

I think a lot of it depends on how you feel about random people milking you all day until you are food.

Human beings are fattened up on high fructose corn syrup and the like, then fleeced for any capital they have accrued via medical expenses at the end of their life as it all catches up on them in the US.

It isn’t exactly being farmed but it isn’t a million miles off.

🤣 having the option to skip past the modern marvel of the modern supermarket and being able to skip right past the squash in February right to the frozen dinner meal option; is now worse than having the literal milk farmed from ya 🤣

Come on folks. Things are on a downward slope and shitty but y’all need to get your perspective in check.

You have a choice to skip the garbage and not eat like a pig as well.

First of all I never said a bad diet was worse than having milk taken from you. this is a standard approach I have noticed to online communication that I am bored with: don’t address what somebody said, just change it and then address that! Solved!

          Having said that:

Obviously I know what this poster meant, then I look at obesity rates, and think hmm dunno, maybe there is something in it. Then I look at the banning of vaccines, and I know that is going to send a lot of money to capital from the elderly going forward and think my fairly light-hearted slightly tongue in cheek take isn’t necessarily that wrong after all.

I doubt it is an actual conspiracy, but like a lot of these things it isn’t a million miles off.
