So, the word floating around is that the studio is using generative AI as part of the animation process for this show. I don’t suppose anyone has details on this? If we’re talking about animators and artist supplementing their own work, that’s quite a bit different than the studio using it, or enforcing use, in an effort to replace or underpay animators. I’d be interested to hear the opinions of the animators themselves, but unless they’re unionized, I can’t imagine we’ll ever hear their opions.
I’m only interested in the end product. I really don’t care what tools they use to get there. If it’s entertaining, it’s entertaining. If it’s shit, it’s shit. I’m a simple guy.
