    I guess I was wrong about how far this anime would go. Pacing is a strange thing to me. I’m the Evil Lord of a Galactic Empire had 12 episodes to go through 1 volume which was ~240 pages, but this seems like it’s going to try to get through 3 volumes in 12 episodes each the same length. I wonder why there’s such a big difference.

      Four episodes per light novel volume is typical (that’s the approximate ratio for Overlord, Unwanted Undead Adventurer, and Water Magician, to name a few I’ve read the source material for), so Evil Lord of a Galactic Empire is the odd one out here. I didn’t actually watch it, so I couldn’t say why they made the decision to pace it so differently from the average.
